The same movement goals. Different demands by age.

A fourth grader should not train agility like a varsity player. Younger players get shorter, simpler movement patterns with more balance and coordination. Older players progress toward sharper deceleration, change-of-direction and reaction work.

Grades 3–5 · FoundationBody control, athletic stance, simple starts/stops, lateral movement and coordination. Low complexity and short work bouts.
Grades 6–8 · BuildBetter braking, sharper footwork, controlled direction changes and introductory reaction work.
Grades 9–12 · PerformMore demanding acceleration/deceleration, multi-direction work, reactive decisions and repeated quality efforts.

Safety: use a flat, dry, non-slip surface with enough space to stop safely. Younger players should have adult supervision. Warm up first and stop if pain, dizziness, unsafe footing or unusual discomfort occurs.
